Peace, Love and Sushi.

Since Sushi Maki opened in 2000, we’ve been on a roll (pun intended) spreading the joy of what great sushi should be; delicious, responsibly sourced ingredients, creative and tasty combinations and an experience you want to have again and again.

Luckily sushi newbies and know-it-alls alike urged us to keep on rollin’ and we went from one sushi shop in South Miami to opening additional restaurants in Coral Gables, Palmetto Bay, Miami International Airport, Brickell and Kendall Marketplace.

In addition to our sushi restaurants and kiosks, our 200+ employees help successfully operate our almost 10,000 ft. commissary in Medley, Florida that includes:

• A state-of-the-art kitchen with the most advanced equipment including super-cool sushi robots (just as cool as they sound.)

• A fleet of 12 refrigerated trucks

• 5000 sq. ft. facility approved by the Florida Dept. of Agriculture

• 3500 sq. ft. of cold prep room

• A warehouse specially designed to store, dry and refrigerate freshly prepared items

This unrivaled preparation and distribution capacity enables us to deliver restaurant-quality sushi throughout South Florida. This includes Sushi Maki sushi stations in Whole Foods Markets, storefronts at the University of Miami and Florida International University, a kiosk in Ft. Lauderdale International Airport and a full catering department. Sushi Maki freshly prepared box sushi is also available at Baptist Hospitals, the Cleveland Clinic, the AmericanAirlines Arena and Barry University! Awesome!
